Walsin Technology / Kamaya And Chip-1 Form Distribution Partnership

  • October 5, 2018

Walsin Technology Corporation and Chip One Exchange USA, Inc. have reached an agreement that allows Chip One to distribute Walsin and Kamaya products throughout the North and South America. The company’s product lineup includes multiple-layer ceramic chip (MLCC) capacitors/arrays, chip-resistors/arrays & networks, RF components, disc capacitors, varistors, and chip fuses. Specialty characteristics such as Ultra High-Q, low ESR, AEC-Q200 certified, anti-sulfuration and ultra-small packages allow design engineers maximum flexibility in meeting their customers’ demands. As per Damon Pouya, Chief Operating Officer, “Kamaya and Walsin are trusted names in the industry. Partnering with them comes at a perfect time. The explosion of smart devices is placing a large demand on component suppliers. Even today’s most sophisticated integrated circuits rely on passive components such as those produced by Walsin to function. This agreement allows us to design in and then strategically stock the items most critical to our customers.” Established in 2001 in Frankfurt, Germany and launching its U.S. operations in 2007, Chip One Exchange is a franchised distributor of electronic components for aerospace, telecommunications, medical, automotive, industrial, defense, mobile computing and consumer applications. In addition to component sales, Chip One offers design services, BOM analysis, inventory and lifecycle management.
